Optician Jobs

Opticians typically require special certifications and skills. They are expected to have an Opticianry certification or an Associate degree in Opticianry, from a recognized institution. Importantly, they should have strong customer service and sales skills, enabling them to advise patients effectively and increase sales. Prior to becoming an Optician, individuals might have roles as an Optometric Assistant, Optical Sales Associate, or Optical Lab Technician, providing them with industry experience and a foundation of knowledge in vision care.
