August 2018 Optometry Industry Report [INFOGRAPHIC]

Overall, optometry job and optometry job seeker data held steady in August 2018 compared to July. Newly added optometry jobs dipped just slightly, but remained ahead of April 2018 and June 2018’s totals to continue the positive trend.

Of note, 208 optometrists joined iHireOptometry in August, nearly doubling July’s total of 106. Additionally, iHireOptometry had 37,892 unique visitors in August 2018 as well, the highest amount recorded since we started publishing these reports in December 2017 (24,487).
