Dispensing Optician

We are looking for a individual who is passionate about eye care and helping patients find the perfect pair of glasses?  Family Vision Care Optometry is seeking a dedicated Optician to join our team in Valencia, CA.  Will train for the right candidate if no experience.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Dispensing glasses and contact lenses
2. Verifying vision insurance eligibility and billing vision insurance 
3. Assisting patients with frame selection
4. Performing lensometry and prescription dispensing
5. Providing exceptional patient care
6. Managing inventory control and ordering
7. Conducting fittings and adjustments for glasses and contact lenses
8. Educating patients on proper eye care and maintenance of glasses or contacts
9. Collaborating with eye care professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
10. Multi tasking as a receptionist or an ophthalmic technician if needed.

Family Vision Care Optometry is looking to hire a motivated and knowledgeable and experienced optician who is dedicated to excellence in optometry.  Our office sees patients from age 6 months to 90+.  General patients are all welcome to our office, but in addition our doctors specialize in specialty contact lens: ie keratoconus, myopia control, s/p corneal transplant.  Children's vision including vision therapy and visual learning delay.  Neuro Vision patients: traumatic brain injury, stroke, concussion, etc. Low Vision patients are seen as well
