Daily Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams
• Conduct diagnostic testing
• Provide dispensing services
• Assist with patient triage and referrals
• Coordinate with ophthalmologists

Required Skills:

• Doctor of Optometry degree
• Experience in eye care and optometry
• Proficiency in contact lens fittings and visual field testing
• Knowledge of ocular diseases and cataract diagnosis
• Ability to dispense prescriptions and assist with surgeries

Technical Skills:

• Experience with electronic health records
• Knowledge of medical assisting and patient care
• Ability to perform general repairs and handle insurance claims
