Two very busy optometric practices for sale/buyout in south-central NC that would be a great fit for a married OD couple where one could work in each office. The larger practice in Montgomery County has 3 exam rooms, full optical services, OCT, Goldman VF, and a MacuLogix Dark Adaptation instrument. It is the only eyecare facility in the whole county of appx. 28,000 people; while the Rockingham, NC practice has 2 exam rooms with a comprehensive optical department. There’s a nearby ophthalmology practice, a Walmart Vision Center, and another solo practitioner with a side-by-side. The population of Richmond County being appx. 46,000.

Although both counties are considered rural, they are both centrally located to where you can easily drive to Raleigh (about 1 3/4 hours' drive), Charlotte (about 1 1/2 hours' drive), Greensboro (about 1 1/4 hours' drive), Fayetteville (about 1 1/2 hours' drive) and Winston-Salem (about 1 1/4 hours' drive). If you prefer the beautiful NC mountains near Asheville, then it’s a 3+ hour drive. Myrtle Beach, SC and Wilmington, NC are about a 2+ hours’ drive from Rockingham if you are a beach-lover.
