Are you a skilled and compassionate optometrist looking to make a difference in the lives of patients? Brooks Eye is seeking a dedicated Staff Optometrist to join our team in Plano, TX. As a leading eye care provider, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and are looking for a talented individual to help us achieve this goal.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams and vision tests
• Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases
• Prescribe and fit contact lenses
• Perform visual field testing and pre-testing procedures
• Provide postoperative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries

Required Skills:

• Doctor of Optometry degree
• Experience in eye care and ocular disease management
• Proficiency in contact lens fitting and prescription dispensing
• Knowledge of visual field testing and autorefractor technology
• Ability to perform primary eye care and patient recall services

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with LASIK and cataract evaluations
• Familiarity with diabetic retinopathy and low vision management
• Knowledge of optical coherence tomography and optomap technology
