Ophthalmologist Jobs in Pennsylvania

Ophthalmologists are medical doctors (MDs) or doctors of osteopathic medicine (DOs) who specialize in vision and eye care. An ophthalmologist’s job description includes conducting eye exams, diagnosing and treating diseases, prescribing medications, and performing eye surgery.

The median salary for an ophthalmologist is more than $200,000, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics projects faster than average job growth for physicians and surgeons in general at 10%–14% through 2026.
