Required Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm and Friday 8am-3:30pm

Clinical Technician job responsibilities include:
- Perform patient pre-testing
- Obtain medical and vision histories
- Assist with contact lens training and education
- Enter information into EHR
- Order contact lenses
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment
- Support efficient patient flow
- Educate patients on eye care recommendation
- Perform special testing

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining professionalism and patient confidentiality
- Previous experience in an optometric, ophthalmology, medical, or healthcare setting
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
- Experience performing patient intake, medical histories, or clinical testing
- Contact lens experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology
Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to learn.
