The role involves patient interaction, equipment maintenance, and assisting ophthalmologists. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Requirements: Obtain patient history and record procedures in electronic medical records. Perform visual acuity tests and other diagnostic procedures. Order lenses based on prescriptions. Handle patient inquiries and provide solutions in consultation with ophthalmologists. Maintain and sterilize ophthalmic instruments and equipment. Assist in performing in-office ophthalmic procedures. Monitor and restock inventory and ensure medication items are not expired. Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in an eye care environment. Certification from Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (COA, COT, or CMOT). Experience with ophthalmic testing and scribing. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficiency in using electronic medical records. Knowledge of ophthalmology medical terminology. Experience in a high customer volume work environment.
