Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintains patient records and schedules appointments in IDX.
Answers phones, greets patients, verifies correct billing information and prepares chart for office visit.
Assists with the clinical work up of patients, including visual acuity, applanation pressures, history, keratometry, autorefraction, color vision, stereopsis and EYESYS.
Instructs patient in the proper care and insertion/removal of contact lenses. Modifies and/or polishes contacts.
Maintains inventory of materials and cleans instruments. Maintains examination rooms and supplies.
