Job Description:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham, Department of Ophthalmology, has an opening for an Optometrist. This position is full-time non-tenure earning at the rank of Clinical Instructor. Responsibilities include patient care, didactic and clinical training of residents, and opportunities for basic and clinical research. There is immediate opportunity to engage in a very busy clinical practice within a tertiary clinic. The departments practice has rapidly grown into the largest multi-specialty Ophthalmology practice in the state of Alabama. The group is comprised of more than 25 providers, seeing over 100,000 annual clinic visits within 15 clinics in multiple counties.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have graduated from a fully accredited optometry residency program and be eligible for an Alabama Board of Optometry license.
