Position Summary:
A Fixed-Term Optometric position is available in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This individual will practice the full scope of Optometry under the direction of the Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology. Academic rank and salary are negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Prerequisites include successful graduation from an American School of Optometry and licensure to practice in the state of North Carolina. Qualifications include proven clinical expertise, a strong commitment to teaching and education, excellent patient care skills and excellent professional references.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:
Ability and comfort to perform eye exams in school-age children.
