Responsibilities of the Optical Technician I

* Help prepare and handle delicate optical components

* Execute fine grinding and polishing operations using various equipment and hand tools

* Inspect work for quality and measure for conformance to specifications

* Maintain a clean and organized workspace

* Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications of the Optical Technician I * Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail * Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians * Comfort working with your hands and handling precision equipment * Ability to work effectively in a team and follow detailed instructions * Technical training or hands-on experience in manufacturing is a plus * Basic understanding of optical principles or manufacturing processes is helpful but not required Openings are available working Monday through Friday from 3:00pm-11:30pm or 11:00pm-7:30am.
