Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree

Valid Iowa optometry license

Full-scope clinical capabilities with a medical-focused mindset

Exposure:
Youll practice full-scope optometry in a busy, well-supported private practice with a strong emphasis on medical care (approximately 60% medical / 40% primary care). Youll diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions, including:

Glaucoma

Foreign body removal

Dry eye disease

General ocular health conditions

Patients of all ages

And more

Youll typically see approximately 4 patients per hour with full technician support handling patient workups, allowing you to focus on exams and clinical care.

Technicians who perform patient workups
