Certified Ophthalmic Technician- team lead

This individual is responsible for the supervision of the Clinical Team, including time and attendance, performance and training. Additional responsibilities include the day-to-day oversight of the scribe operations including patient in-flow and out-flow processes, patient education, and chart documentation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:

  • Open communication with other managers, supervisors, and the RDO
  • Monitors and informs department manager of daily clinic flow
  • Monitors, addresses, and informs department manager of any staff issues
  • Ability to provide an efficient, concise synopsis of each clinic day with assessment of how to improve for future dates
  • Oversees and supervises all clinical staff training
  • Assists with prospective interviews
  • Prepares department schedules and handles team call offs
  • Provides feedback on performance forAnnual Reviews of staff
  • Conducts monthly staff meetings
  • Conducts staff quarterly reviews
  • Monitors Nextech data entry, patient tasks, and continuity of care communication
  • Reporting: Provider Inquiry Report and ATB Report
  • Provides support to SITE (Rotation) team
  • Assists with SITE (Rotation) monthly equipment calibration and cleaning
  • Assists with SITE (Rotation) equipment training
  • Maintains an organized, clean office throughout all locations
  • Assists other office personnel as needed
  • Understands and abides by the AIDET communication model

WHAT YOU KNOW:

Certified opthalmic Technician- COA
