We are seeking a skilled Optometrist for a locum tenens assignment through Barton Associates. This opportunity is located in Indiana and requires coverage for 60 days at a clinic, starting 07/14/2025. The ideal candidate will work full-time, with hours varying between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Conduct routine eye exams

Diagnose and treat refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism)

Manage various eye conditions (dry eye, conjunctivitis, glaucoma)

Handle cases involving contact lenses

Address visual binocular vision problems

Provide primary vision care to patients

Manage acute and long-term care cases

Perform comprehensive visual examinations

Review and maintain patient charts and records

Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests

Identify and assess patients' vision issues

Formulate and plan prognoses

Utilize ECW for patient documentation and management

Collaborate with clinic staff and other healthcare professionals

Adhere to all clinic protocols and safety standards

Educate patients on eye health and preventive care
