Optometrist

What You’ll Need:

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree (or pending)
• Valid NY state license to practice optometry (or pending)
• Availability to work

We offer the Cirrus OCT, Digital fundus photography, slit lamp photography, Atlas topography, Zeiss visual field, digital autorefractor and digital lensometers.  We have state-of-the-art slit lamps and exam lanes as well.

We offer the opportunity to join an established team that can consult and share their invaluable experience!  You will work with 2 other experienced optometrists and 3 sub-specialized ophthalmologists with a combined 45 years of experience treating ocular disease.  This is a collegial atmosphere between ophthalmology and optometry, with ample time to curbside each other when dealing with complex cases.  

Schedule: We value work-life balance, so our workweek is Monday through Friday from 8-5 with an hour break for lunch, with no evenings or weekend hours! Likewise, we know the importance of your daily schedule on both your mental health and the care you provide to your patients, so we only schedule 3 patients hourly--providing ample time for you to provide personalized, thorough treatment!  You will be provided with experienced ophthalmic technicians who will work up your patients and perform any ocular testing you request or require.
