Small optical in Rochester Hills looking for a biller 1 to 2 days a week!

Daily Responsibilities:

• Manage billing and invoicing processes
• Verify insurance coverage and process claims
• Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing inquiries

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of eye care procedures
• Familiarity with Vision & Medical Billing Codes
• Understanding of ocular diseases and optometry practices
• Ability to perform lens selection, keratometry, and corneal topography

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with LASIK procedures
• Knowledge of fundus photography and dry eye treatments
• Certification in NCLE (National Contact Lens Examiners)
• Background in optical sales and optical coherence tomography

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position ranges from $38,000 to $50,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
