Are you looking for a rewarding career in the optometry industry? Premier Eyecare is seeking a dedicated and professional Optometric Technician to join our team in West Knoxville. As an Optometric Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service and support to our patients. No prior experience in the eye care industry is required as we will provide training for this position. Daily Responsibilities:

• Assist with pre-testing procedures for eye exams
• Perform lensometry and visual field testing
• Utilize autorefractors for vision testing
• Support optometrists in diagnosing and treating eye conditions
• Provide exceptional patient care and support

Required Skills:

• Ability to perform pre-testing and visual acuity measurements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills
• Strong customer service and or patient care skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Previous experience with electronic medical records
• Background in medical assisting
• Experience in eyecare or optometry field
• Proficiency in scheduling appointments and managing patient records
